Job Summary NLMC is seeking an experienced Surgical Ward Nurse to provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative nursing care and support safe patient recovery. Key Responsibilities Assess and monitor surgical patients before and after procedures. Monitor vital signs, wounds, drains, pain, and postoperative recovery. Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Identify complications and promptly escalate clinical concerns. Support wound care, infection prevention, and patient mobilisation. Educate patients and families on postoperative care and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate nursing records and collaborate with surgical teams.
