About this role

Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray examinations, according to physician requests. Prepare patients for radiological examinations and explain the procedures to them. Position patients correctly to obtain accurate and high-quality diagnostic images. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment in accordance with established procedures. Apply radiation protection principles to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and the public. Verify patient identity and examination requests before conducting procedures. Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment and radiation shielding devices. Assess image quality and repeat examinations only when clinically justified. Maintain accurate patient examination records and imaging documentation. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the radiology examination room. Identify and report equipment malfunctions and technical problems to the concerned body. Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies. Maintain patient confidentiality and respect patients' rights and dignity. Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Follow infection prevention and control procedures. Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities. Monitor the availability and proper utilization of radiology supplies and consumables. Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
