Junior Software Developer

About this role

Job Summary The Junior Software Developer will support the development, enhancement, maintenance, and technical support of Infinity's healthcare software products. Working under the guidance of the Senior Software Developer, the successful candidate will contribute to developing new features, improving existing applications, troubleshooting software issues, and providing timely technical support to clients. Key Responsibilities New Product Development Participate in requirements gathering and software development. Develop new features and modules based on approved requirements. Support system integrations, including HL7 and ASTM protocols. Write, test, debug, and document maintainable code. Enhancement of Existing Systems Improve and maintain existing software applications. Implement approved enhancements and resolve software defects. Test changes and address issues identified during QA and UAT. Technical Support Investigate and resolve assigned client support tickets. Provide timely support in line with established SLAs. Document issues and resolutions and escalate complex incidents when necessary. Communicate professionally with clients regarding technical issues. Teamwork and Professional Development Plan and document assigned tasks and project progress. Participate in team meetings and Agile development activities. Follow coding, documentation, and version control standards. Continuously develop technical skills and support after-hours activities when required.
