About this role

The senior dispatch officer coordinates daily truck dispatch, assigns trucks and drivers to cargo, follows trips through to delivery, and keeps dispatch records accurate. Key Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise daily truck dispatch activities. Assign available trucks and drivers according to cargo requirements and dispatch schedules. Monitor vehicle movements and follow up on trip progress and cargo delivery. Coordinate with drivers, branches, customers, and relevant departments. Identify and report dispatch delays, vehicle shortages, and operational problems. Verify dispatch documents and ensure accurate trip records in the system. Prepare daily and weekly dispatch performance reports. Support the Division Manager in improving fleet utilization and delivery performance.
