Junior System & Network Engineer Strategy, Planning and Monitoring Officer (Re-Advertised) Purpose of the Job: To support Nisir’s growth by coordinating the design and implementation of the company’s strategy and plans, and monitoring enterprise performance against key performance metrics and indicators. The position also ensures that the company’s strategies and plans are executed on time and the desired results are achieved. Main Duties and responsibilities: Review the company’s strategy and understand key strategies, objectives, key initiatives, value drivers and improvement lever, through executive leadership interviews, storyboard sessions with mid-level managers, and understand the mission to ensure a strong foundation for measurement development. Support the development and execution of the company’s strategy and long-term plans. Collaborate with senior management and department leaders to stimulate thinking on opportunities, and organizational capabilities, to formulate strategies, concepts and solutions to business issues. Verify the performance alignment around the strategy, and generate an improvement plan. Design and lead the department’s strategy or initiatives; plan and manage delivery to set timelines, budget and quality standards. Establish effective linkages between departmental planning processes and company-wide planning activities to ensure consistency. Develop and implement systematic processes to support strategic planning and execution (including corporate performance management) within the company. Serve as a focal point in the preparation of the company’s annual corporate plan. Assist in the development of an annual budget for departments by providing sufficient information on the company's strategy and operational plans. Coordinate the establishment of short and long-term goals, objectives, and operating procedures of the company. Facilitate senior management teams and support with the preparation of strategy presentations as needed Develop an integrated business intelligence and analytics strategy, identify component technology requirements, programs, systems, and policies and create a solution architecture that can align people, processes and technology. Monitor and evaluate the implementation and progress of the company’s plans and change programs across the company. Maintain proficiency of skills and knowledge and remain current with strategic planning best practices. Periodically review the monitoring and evaluation mechanism that could fit with the prevailing situation. Monitor and evaluate the performance of working units against their own prior plan.
