Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Fintech Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial management, reconciliation, and strategic financial planning of a growing fintech company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, proven experience in senior financial leadership, and the ability to ensure accurate financial records, effective controls, and sustainable business growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee financial reconciliation across bank accounts, payment platforms, digital transactions, and settlement accounts. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, forecasts, and business plans. Monitor cash flow, liquidity, profitability, and overall financial performance. Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, policies, and procedures. Oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, audits, and regulatory compliance. Identify financial risks, improve financial processes, and implement reconciliation automation where appropriate. Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and senior management to support business decisions and growth. Lead and develop the Finance and Accounting team. Manage relationships with banks, auditors, payment partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
