About this role

The accountant records and verifies daily transactions, maintains accurate ledgers, and supports reporting, tax compliance, and audits at the Lemi operation. Key Duties and Responsibilities Record and maintain accurate daily accounting transactions and general ledger accounts in Odoo ERP. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supporting schedules. Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Verify supplier invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents before processing. Monitor customer accounts, receipts, outstanding balances, and collection status. Prepare tax schedules and support timely tax declarations and payments. Monitor expenditure against approved budgets and report variances. Maintain fixed-asset records and support inventory reconciliation. Support payroll accounting, statutory deductions, and account reconciliations. Prepare documents and schedules for internal and external audits and comply with internal controls.
