Position Title: Contract Engineer Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Employment Type: Contract Experience: Minimum of 4 YearsSalary: Negotiable We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Contract Engineer to manage contract administration, project documentation, and compliance with contractual obligations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction contracts, payment certification, claims management, and project coordination. Key Responsibilities: Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions. Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accuracy and consistency. Prepare, review, and process interim payment certificates and final accounts. Monitor project progress against contract schedules and milestones. Assist in the evaluation of variation orders, claims, and extension of time requests. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients regarding contractual matters. Maintain proper records of correspondence, site instructions, and contractual documentation. Support procurement activities and review tender documents when required. Ensure compliance with FIDIC or other applicable contract conditions. Prepare periodic reports related to contract performance and project status.
