Store Keeper – Construction

About this role

Job Summary We are looking for a responsible, organized, and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage and control construction materials, tools, equipment, and other inventory items. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and recording materials to ensure their availability and proper utilization throughout construction operations. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify construction materials, tools, and equipment delivered to the store. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials. Organize and store construction supplies properly to ensure easy identification and accessibility. Issue materials to construction workers, site engineers, and other authorized personnel based on approved requests. Monitor stock levels and inform management when materials need replenishment. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory records. Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly stock reports as required. Ensure that materials are stored safely to prevent damage, loss, or misuse. Maintain proper documentation, including delivery notes, material requisitions, receipts, and issue vouchers. Monitor the condition of tools and equipment and report damaged or missing items. Coordinate with procurement, finance, and construction site teams regarding material requirements. Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and security within the store. Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
