Agriculture Officer

About this role

The Agriculture Officer will facilitate implementation of emergency Agriculture components of integrated Multi Sector project. The job holder is responsible for the facilitation of target selection, agriculture and livestock inputs and related training. The job holder is expected to support and monitor the implementation of the project, participating in the woreda relevant offices. She/he is responsible for organizing training sessions to select target beneficiaries and provide regular support. The job holder is also responsible for producing progress reports, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports and submitting them in a timely manner. Location: Mana Sibu Woreda, West Oromia Zone Duration : 10 months fixed-term contract Salary: As per organizational scale Number of Positions: 1 Key Responsibilities Plan, implement, monitor, review, and evaluate agricultural activities Supervise and support community facilitators Develop monthly action plans and monitor progress against project goals Coordinate the distribution of agricultural inputs, livestock vaccination campaigns, and other agricultural interventions. Facilitate beneficiary selection and verification Organize review meetings and document best practices Represent HEKS/EPER in field-level coordination platforms Ensure reporting quality and timeliness Collaborate with stakeholders at the woreda and kebele levels Support the development of monitoring tools and project indicators Adhere to accountability standards and ensure transparency Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager
